Arrest History in Tillamook County
The Tillamook County Sheriff's Office makes arrests in unincorporated areas, Bay City, and contract-served Rockaway Beach. Tillamook Police, Oregon State Police, Manzanita's local public-safety agency, and other assisting or federal agencies can create their own incident records. When a person enters the county jail, Corrections creates a separate booking file regardless of which agency made the arrest. The District Attorney later decides whether and what to charge.
An arrest history is therefore not one county ledger. It can include an agency report, Custody Report, jail data, fingerprints sent to OSP, and a later court case. The county's written jail form offers incarceration and booking information from 2013 forward. The live roster is much narrower and only reflects current custody. Older or fuller patrol material must be requested from the agency that authored it.
Tillamook County Live Arrest Roster
The county inmate list is the official current booking log. It is a table rather than a name-search form. It shows a displayed name, bail, book date, plain-language charge, and release date when populated. Users can sort by booking date through the page controls, but there is no profile click, login, charge filter, export, or mugshot. A blank release date indicates only that the table has no release date in that row.
The Tillamook County inmate list is the direct current-custody channel.
Absence from the list does not rule out a past arrest, transfer, release, citation, or booking that has rolled off the current view.
How to Look Up Tillamook County Arrests
Start with the event, not a broad name search. Identify the likely arresting agency, approximate date, and location. Then choose the channel that holds the needed slice. The roster answers who is in the county jail now. Corrections can confirm custody after a transfer or release. The arresting agency holds its own incident narrative, and OJD holds the court trail only after a prosecutor files a case.
- Check the county inmate list for present custody and its booking-date, charge, bail, and release columns.
- Call Corrections at 503-842-3422 if the roster is unavailable or the person may have transferred or left custody.
- Request the incident report from the agency that made the arrest and the booking report separately from county Corrections.
- Search OJD court records after charging, then compare the filed counts and judgment with the booking allegation.
- Use the OSP criminal-history process for its stated statewide scope, and VISOR for current Oregon custody or supervision.
Sheriff patrol records use a written form delivered or mailed to 5995 Long Prairie Road. Jail records use a different form and corrections review. A request under Oregon Public Records Law does not override exemptions for an active investigation, protected victim information, juveniles, sealed records, or private identifiers.
Tillamook County Arrest Request Split
A city arrest followed by county booking requires two requests when the reader wants both narratives. Ask Tillamook Police for a TPD-created incident report. Ask Oregon State Police for an OSP-created report. Manzanita material stays with that local department. Sheriff's Records handles sheriff-created patrol reports, including covered contract areas. County Corrections holds the intake and incarceration slice for all people booked at its jail.
This division prevents a common mistake. The jail did not author the officer's probable-cause narrative just because it accepted the person. Likewise, the arresting agency does not control the county's later booking log, screening data, release entry, or custody record. What an Arrest Record Shows
Local arrest and booking records contain different fields. An officer report can identify the incident number, agency, time and place, alleged conduct, probable-cause facts, and evidence references. The Custody Report adds identity and contact details, charges, bail, victim information, and an incident summary. Jail staff then add booking, property, screening, classification, fingerprint, and release data. Medical and suicide screening details are restricted rather than public profile fields.

The written booking report is fuller than the public table. It should still be compared with OJD if the goal is to learn whether charges were filed or how each count ended.
Tillamook County Booking Report Requests
The current jail request PDF lists $30 for a standard incarceration or booking record up to 20 pages, $0.35 for each extra page, $10 for a CD, and $15 per 15 minutes of research. An older landing page lists $25 for the first 20 pages, so the newer PDF should control only after confirmation. The form requests the subject's name, date of birth, requester contacts, specific information sought, and whether all incarceration dates from 2013 forward or booking information is requested.
Recent Arrests and Booking Logs
No separate official Tillamook County daily arrest blotter was found. The inmate list serves as the current booking log. It is useful for a recent custodial arrest, yet it does not show a booking number, date of birth, arresting agency, statute, warrant number, judge, court date, physical description, or per-charge bail mapping. It also republishes no booking photographs.
Call Corrections when a person may have transferred or been released, or when the table is unavailable. For older history, use the written jail request. For state custody or community supervision, use VISOR rather than assuming the person remains in the county jail. A citation or arrest that did not lead to county custody may never appear on this roster.
Tillamook County Arrests Reach OSP
For a new crime or probation violation, Corrections sends fingerprints electronically to the Oregon State Police Identification Bureau. OSP uses a positive fingerprint match to link the arrest cycle to an existing statewide identity file or create one. The prosecutor and court should later report the filed charge and disposition back to OSP. State research warns that repository records can contain missing or delayed dispositions, so an arrest entry must not be treated as a final court result.
VISOR is a different tool. It searches people currently in Oregon custody or under supervision by full or partial name, SID, or county ID and offers optional custody notifications. The official VISOR search covers that custody layer.
VISOR does not replace the county booking report, OSP criminal-history product, or court judgment.
Arrests vs Convictions
A Tillamook County arrest records an officer's action or a jail intake. A conviction requires a guilty plea or finding and a court judgment. The DA may decline filing, file a different charge, or dismiss a count. A court may acquit the defendant. Compare the booking date and allegation with the filed case number and count-by-count judgment instead of assuming the records say the same thing.

Note: An arrest is not proof of guilt; only the court file can show whether a charge produced a conviction.
Tillamook Arrest Charges Can Change
The March 2026 District Attorney policy directs law-enforcement agencies to send reports and evidence promptly, generally within ten days after an arrest unless an ongoing investigation justifies more time. Citation reports are generally due no later than two weeks before the citation date. The DA then makes an independent charging choice. Insufficient probable cause can lead to release or declined filing.
